MIGENT SIGNS AUSTRALIAN DISTRIBUTOR

By CBR Staff Writer

Migent International Corp, the Incline Village, Nevada company that numbers an array of superstars, mainly from Ashton-Tate, among its key officers, is looking to take the Antipodes by storm, and has signed Tech Pacific to distribute its portfolio of microcomputer software products and peripherals. The multi-million dollar agreement with Tech Pacific is exclusive for the next two years. Migent claims that over 2,000 copies of the multifunction Ability program for the IBM Personal have already been sold in Oz ahead of the formal launch, which is due very shortly. Migent hopes to achieve superstardom by virtue of a next-generation database product it is designing for 80386-based micros.
