MIDLAND BANK TO BUY ELECTRONIC BANKING SOFTWARE FROM HOGAN

Midland Bank Plc, in process of converting to IBM mainframes after its long association with what used to be Burroughs, will spend $15m over the next three years with Dallas-based Hogan Systems Inc for a comprehensive suite of electronic retail banking software, reports the Financial Times: the order is Hogan’s biggest in Europe; IBM now also markets its banking software.
