Microvitec Plc, the Bradford-based manufacturer of colour computer monitors for schools, has moved into the Personal Computer market with the launch of the 8088-based Cubpack range: the Cubpacks have 512K RAM, parallel and serial ports, and a Colour Graphics Adaptor: the single-drive PC1 costs ?649, while the two drive PC2, which comes with Ashton-Tate Corp’s First Framework integrated software package, costs ?799: the products will be sold direct and through dealers specialises in eductaion.
