MicroTrac Systems Inc, based in Newton, Massachusetts has acquired SuccessPlan software, a personal computer-based product for corporate planning and management development: SuccessPlan was acquired from Borwick International, also based in Newton; MicroTrac is to market and support SuccessPlan in the US and Canada, and Borwick International will continue to market and support the software on an international basis; effective with the acquisition, the company also created a Restrac Product Division; the company’s two product divisions will operate independently, but will share development efforts.
