Microsoft’s Xbox 360 beats PS3 in H3TV challenge

Microsoft's Xbox 360 console has been given the unanimous thumbs-up over Sony's PlayStation 3 at a face-off challenge arrange by hip hop-focused US company H3 Enterprises.

By CBR Staff Writer

H3 Enterprises has reported that, in what it claims was a totally unbiased side-by-side face-off screened on one of its H3TV flat screen monitors, the Xbox 360 delivered a convincing beat-down to its highly sought-after rival the PS3.

As a result of H3TV’s split screen cyber technology, the crowd present at the event was able to witness the two rival gaming consoles being played on the same 1080p monitor at the same time. Utilizing EA Sports’ Fight Night game on both consoles, H3TV was able to give the audience a clear view of the head-to-head imagery and graphics of the competing systems.

Xbox is flat-out better both visually and mechanically, said H3’s chief communications officer Adrian Hollywood Walton. When Fight Night is played at its highest level with the highest possible resolution, everyone was able to see Xbox 360’s superiority to PS3 as clear as can be on H3TV.

H3 Enterprises has dubbed the victory score one for the ‘little guy’ as the Xbox 360 currently owns less than a 20% share of the video game console market, while Sony’s PlayStation brand dominates the market with more than a 60% share of consoles in use.

The company plans to feature a second round of the console challenge soon, with different games, including EA Sports’ Madden NFL 07 and NBA Live 2007.
