MICROSOFT WINS FIRST SOFTWARE PIRACY LAWSUIT IN CHINA

Microsoft Corp has won its first software piracy lawsuit in China after a Beijing court ordered two Chinese companies to pay $100,000 to the US software giant, the official media reported. The court ruled that Beijing Haisida Science and Technology Development Co and Min’an Investment Consulting Co were guilty of copyright infringements involving the unauthorized use of Microsoft products.
