MICROSOFT TRIES TO PREVENT FORMER DIRECTOR TO JOIN BORLAND

Microsoft Corp is seeking an injunction in Washington state to have its former director of strategic planning and marketing for computer languages, Rob Dickerson barred from joining Borland International Inc, Scotts Valley, California as vice-president of marketing: Borland has responded by asking a California court to rule that the not to compete one-year covenant in Dickerson’s contract is not enforceable under California law.
