MICROSOFT TO SET UP INDIAN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT CENTER

The fruits of Bill Gates’ trip to India back in May (CI No 3,113) have now been revealed. Orlando Ayala, Microsoft Corp’s vice president for inter-continental operations says that Microsoft has plans to set up a software development center in India, the second outside the US: We should come out with the announcement by the end of the year, Ayala told Reuters. The center could begin small, but eventually employ hundreds of developers, he said.
