MICROSOFT SPEEDS UP LOCALIZATION PROCESS WITH GERMAN BUY

Even Microsoft Corp hasn’t succeeded in getting the whole world to speak English yet, so to speed up localization of its software products the giant has taken a 20% share in German translation software company Trados GmbH, based in Stuttgart. Microsoft will use the Trados software as its internal localization store, enabling the re-use of already localized text from product to product.
