Microsoft software to replace SAP program for aircraft manufacturer

Kerrville, Texas-based Mooney Airplane is replacing its current SAP system with the Microsoft Axapta ERP platform from Junction Solutions, a provider of enterprise applications, in an effort to improve its manufacturing and service operations.

The company also plans to use Junction Solution’s integrated Multi-Channel Retail functionality to manage its aircraft components business through internet, catalog and call center-based orders.

Microsoft Axapta was built to support growing mid-market companies, with a modular architecture that enables the addition of new features. Junction said its Multi-Channel Retail functionality will allow Mooney to measure marketing effectiveness and streamline order fulfillment by providing control and integration of processes, systems and channels.
