MICROSOFT SIGNS SOFTWARE AND SERVICES DEAL IN CHINA

Microsoft Corp has signed software and services alliances with six large Chinese companies. The six will be authorized to provide business software applications based on Windows NT and other software in China, according to Reuters. The six include China National Computer Software, Technology Service, NEU-Alpine, and the Founder Group. Microsoft already has a deal with Legend Holdings Ltd to resell palm-sized PC devices.
