Microsoft Corp is offering release 5.0 of its Word word processor for MS-DOS and OS/2, containing solutions to core word processing problems without sacrificing speed or usability. It needs a minimum two floppies, 380Mb CPU, and MS-DOS 2.0 up. It ships by December 31 at $450, $75 for those who bought an earlier Word before October 1, free to those who bought it this month.
