Microsoft Corp, Redmond, Washington, says that it will have a development package for the MS OS/2 operating system ready in August, combining OS/2 kernel with a new macro assembler, Microsoft’s C compiler version 4.5, Codeview debugger, full-screen editor, and other tools for $3,000, which includes attendance at one of a series of technical seminars that will start in June: the package will run on the IBM AT, Zenith Z-241, Z-248 and Z-386 and Compaq Deskpro 286 and 386 with 1.5Mb memory, hard disk and graphics; telephone support will cost developers $1,000 more.
