Microsoft Corp says that sales of its Excel spreadsheet for computers based on the 80286 and 80386 are still growing month on month, suggesting that the product is beginning to eat into Lotus Development Corp’s share of the market: Lotus is hamstrung by the delay in completing release 3 of its 1-2-3.
