MICROSOFT PLANS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE IN INDIA

Microsoft Corp is to establish a software development center in India – but it’s not in any hurry: the centre will open in three to five years. It will employ software design engineers and support staff to design and develop software for the Indian and Asian markets, and will be modelled after Microsoft development units in Japan and Ireland, employing Indian engineers trained at its Redmond headquarters – and Microsoft has already begun recruiting design engineers in India, and some 30 are due to take up temporary positions at Redmond.
