The federal judge overseeing the Microsoft Corp antitrust case has stated that Microsoft should allow the nine states demanding stiffer antitrust remedies access to its Windows source code.
US District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly made the announcement in a conference call with attorneys from both sides, according to a Reuters report. It is potentially a major blow for Microsoft, which has been arguing against the escalation of the investigation and possible sanctions.
