MICROSOFT BUYS WEB SITE ANALYSIS KING INTERSE

By CBR Staff Writer

Adding to its collection of Internet technologies it needed to buy, Microsoft Corp has bought Sunnyvale company Interse Corp, a privately-held developer of Web site analysis software, on undisclosed terms. Interse’s Market Focus tool will be added to the BackOffice line of server products. Interse Market Focus ranges in price from $700 to $7,000 depending on features, and is designed to enable Web site operators to track visitor behavior.
