And Microsoft Corp and Ashton-Tate announced a software development kit for the SQL Server OS/2 networked database facility: the SQL Server Network Developer’s Kit includes full code, documentation and application programming interface libraries for both SQL Server and Microsoft’s OS/2 LAN Manager; the libraries may be used with Microsoft’s C Compiler to create MS-DOS, Windows or OS/2 applications that work with SQL Server over a network and the kit will be available in October at $2,000 until the end of the year when it goes up; there is also a discount for those with the OS/2 Software Developers Kit.
