A new smaller mouse for PCs and PS/2s, apparently designed so you can use it without looking, has been announced by Microsoft Corp, Redmond, Washington: the tracking ball is in the front of the device rather than the back as is usual and as most software is controlled by the left button, it is the larger of two; there are three versions available – Microsoft Paintbrush coming in at $150, PC Paintbrush for MS Windows at $200 and Easy CAD costing $175 – but Show Partner, an animated graphics program, will no longer be available with the mice.
