Microsoft Corp and Irvine, California-based Advanced Business Microsystems Inc have announced a long-term relationship to develop an accounting product based on Microsoft Windows and integrated with Microsoft SQL Server version 4.2: at the same time, Advanced Business, formerly a partner with IBM’s Desktop Software Division, announced its integrated financial management technology based on Microsoft SQL Server version 4.2; SeQueL to Platinum is targeted at large corporate environments and management information systems management, a runtime version of Microsoft SQL Server version 4.2 will be included with the new product; also, the products will be integrated with a suite of Microsoft applications for Windows including Word, Excel and Microsoft Visual Basic programming system.
