SuperTeller claims to enable financial institutions to become more customer-centric, optimize efficiency, manage risk and reduce costs

By CBR Staff Writer

Microsoft and Agree Technology, a financial services products provider for the Chinese banking industry, have jointly developed an offering for banks based on Microsoft’s .NET platform.

The companies said SuperTeller was developed by Agree Technology in collaboration with Microsoft utilizing Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, and Windows Workflow Foundation. They said SuperTeller will help financial institutions become more customer-centric, optimize efficiency, manage risk, and reduce costs. The application is expected to provide a user-friendly front-end supporting all line-of-business applications with an advanced human-computer interface.

Susan Hauser, vice president of worldwide financial services at Microsoft, said: Microsoft’s platform and financial services partnerships make us uniquely able to facilitate new operational efficiencies, increase transparency, and accelerate innovation across the global banking enterprise. Today’s announcement with Agree Technology strengthens the overall connected customer experience and improves the bottom line.

Yuhui Wang, CEO of Agree Technology, said: “We are very pleased to be working closely with Microsoft and see SuperTeller as a new generation branch system that will help financial institutions greatly improve performance and risk management, and provide customers with an enhanced in-branch experience.”
