Microsoft is set to roll out Office for Mac 2011, a new productivity suite for Mac, at the end of October 2010. The suite will be offered in two editions – Office for Mac Home and Student 2011 and Office for Mac Home and Business 2011.

Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011 includes Word for Mac, PowerPoint for Mac, Excel for Mac and Messenger for Mac. It will be available in two editions – a single install for $119 and family pack for $149 with three installs for families with more than one Mac in their household.

The Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 includes Word for Mac, PowerPoint for Mac, Excel for Mac, Outlook for Mac and Messenger for Mac. It will be available in two editions – a single install for $199 and a multi-pack for $279 with two installs for a user with two machines.

In addition, the company will also offer Office for Mac Academic 2011 for higher education students, staff and faculty. This edition includes Word for Mac, PowerPoint for Mac, Excel for Mac, Outlook for Mac and Messenger for Mac.

The new Office will be available in 13 languages, including Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish. Polish and Russian languages has also been added in Office 2011.
