Microsoft has launched another app for iPad for MSN UK.

This app offers all the latest news, sport and entertainment from the UK to iPad.

The content is available in six main channels, including news, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, cars and video, and the search is facilitated by its own search engine Bing.

MSN Executive Producer Peter Clifton, elaborating on the company’s aim, said MSN wants to provide its audience with the content they want, whenever they want it and on whatever device they choose.

"MSN was already available on mobile, PC and Xbox 360 and so creating an iPad app was the next natural step," said Clifton.

Another feature of this app is that it also enables one-click access to Hotmail and Messenger.

Clifton added, "In terms of reach, MSN is one of the most influential sites in the UK and this new app will give brands another way to reach our extensive audience whilst they are on the move."

The app is currently freely available for download from Apple’s iPad App Store and iTunes.
