Tourismus+Congress GmbH Frankfurt am Main (TCF), the official tourism office and destination management company for Frankfurt, has selected Micros’s myfidelio.net distribution services. Powered by the core Micros Central Reservation System modules, Opera Central Reservation System and Opera Web Services, the central system solution facilitates reservation bookings made via the Frankfurt tourism website for all of the 250 hotels in the city and its surrounding areas.
TCF actively markets Frankfurt tourism around the world and provides information to tourists on places to stay, things to do, sites to see, and places to eat. TCF operates its own call center and internet booking engine for reservations to Frankfurt hotels. The Micros central solution will provide TCF with a real-time online environment to manage hotel room inventory directly with that of the front office system in the hotels.
The complete solution includes a content management system, an accounting module for automatic invoicing, month end reports, and other modules to manage the reservation process.
