MICROPRO STOLE WORDSTAR FROM IMSAI?

MicroPro International Corp invented WordStar to set the whole microcomputer word processing market off and running, didn’t it? Well no, not if ComputerLand founder William Millard is to be believed: from his South Sea fastness in the Northern Marianas, Millard claims MicroPro stole WordStar from his long-dead Imsai Manufacturing Corp; MicroPro is not taking the threat of court action too seriously – we’re as concerned about this as about an iceberg hitting the Golden Gate bridge, chief executive Leon Williams told the Newsbytes newswire.
