MICRON TURNS TO CHROMATIC RESEARCH FOR MEDIA PROCESSOR

Following its Gateway 2000 Inc design win earlier this week (CI No 3,187), Chromatic Research Inc has now won Gateway rival Micron Electronics Inc as a customer for its MPact media processor. Micron intends to use the chip to add Digital Video Disk video and audio to its Millennia MME and XRU Fusion 3D desktop systems.
