Micrografx Inc, the commercial and consumer graphics software company, announced on Monday that its ‘interim’ chief financial officer, Larry Morris was retiring at the age of 60, and that a full time replacement had yet to be found. The company said it had consulted with its major shareholders concerning the announcement to assure them that the resignation had been expected. Morris joined the company two years ago as an interim measure only, a spokesperson said. CEO Douglas Richard will now double as acting CFO until a replacement can be found. Micrografx, based in Richardson, Texas, had revenues of $72m for its last fiscal year, with net income of $607,000.
