The product incorporates Molex’s MicroCross DVI connector system, enabling interface with all DVI digital display products. With a low profile form factor and PC bracket, the riser card includes a 6 in. EBBI and DVO cable assembly for plug-n-play capacity.

Equipped with the Silicon Image Sil(TM) 164 fu(TM) ll-range DVI transmitter chip, the riser card extends a low-cost, all-digital video interface spanning from VGA (640 x 480) to SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolutions (25-165 Mega- pixels/second). The riser card also supports 5 gigabit-per-second single-link video bandwidth specified by the Digital Display Working Group (DDWG) for DVI compliance.

Offering a flexible graphics controller interface, it is compatible with Intel’s DVO 12-bit graphic interface, as well as flexible input clocking and a 12C slave programming interface. Other features include an 1.0 – 1.8V low-voltage interface, receiver detection, a de-skewing option and long distance cable support.

The MicroCross Molex DVI Link riser is available in single and bulk packs through Arrow and Avnet (authorized distributors) as well as from Molex directly in high volumes and on a build to order basis. Pricing depends on quantity ordered. Typically lead time is six to eight weeks.
