Installed on a network file server on any NetBIOS-compatible local network, the product is claimed to enable up to 250 concurrent personal computer network users to link to a mainframe or mini, bulletin board or information service, or to other micros on the local network. As well as asynchronous and synchronous modems, it is claimed to support most protocol converters, 3270 emulation coaxial boards, direct Token Ring802.2 TIC connections and a range of gateways.
