Olivetti’s 46.8%-owned MicroAge Computer Stores Inc franchise operator in Tempe, Arizona, has received something of a fillip from the decision of Moore Corp of Toronto, Canada to abandon its US computer retail operations and take a $16.5m fourth quarter charge: Moore has agreed the pick of the 44 stores should become MicroAge franchises.
