Systems integrator MicroAge Inc says that it expects to report fourth-quarter revenues of more than $1.5bn and earnings per share in the $0.15 – $0.18 range, exceeding First Call’s consensus estimate of $0.14 per share. With respect to a decision on what it will do with the Pinacor distribution business, the Tempe, Arizona-based company insists it is narrowing its options, and says a decision is expected to be made by the end of the calendar year. It has long been believed that the company will sell Pinacor, which was set up as a separate business unit last March. The company will report full results for the quarter and year on January 13.
