Micro Focus Plc is continuing to add to its product line: the latest entrant is Cobol/2 Workbench, a package that brings together the Cobol/2 compiler and the Workbench application development suite for ?2,000; the Newbury software house is also unbundling the Cobol/2 compiler from the ?1,150 Software Development Kit (CI No 813); the compiler on its own will be ?688.
