MICRO CELLULAR CREATES NEW SUBSIDIARY, TYPETRON

Micro Cellular Communications Inc, Boca Raton, Florida is diversifying with the creation of a new subsidiary, Typetron Corp, formed to develop and pursue markets in desk top publishing, electronic imaging and office automation: the new unit offers turnkey computer system design and sales, high resolution page composition services, proprietary end-user courseware, and training and support services for advertising agencies, printing and graphic arts companies, and large corporate users of desk top publishing; Typetron says it has invested in systems enabling Apple and IBM micros to link with the its Linotronic L300 laser setter and raster image processor to produce camera-ready images at savings of up to 70%.
