Micro Focus, a provider of enterprise application modernisation, testing and management offerings, has introduced its Silk for SAP offering.
The SAP offering is a set of integrated modules which provide application lifecycle support for SAP applications, and also for all other industry requirements for testing in a heterogeneous world.
The new offering embeds quality activities throughout the SAP application lifecycle to optimise availability, accuracy, performance and scalability of SAP applications.
Micro Focus Borland Solutions portfolio director Archie Roboostoff said organisations can mitigate these risks, which can destabilise the system by jeopardising day-to-day operations and ultimately the bottom line, by taking an advanced approach to software Lifecycle Quality Management (LQM) initiatives.

Micro Focus Silk for SAP provides automated process covering all aspects from blueprint changes – reflecting changes in requirements – testing and managing incidents, and one which incorporates reports and dashboards to provide visibility of the overall processes, the company said.
The component modules of SAP offering include SilkCentral Test Manager for managing the testing process throughout the lifecycle of SAP deployment, SilkPerformer for load and performance testing of the SAP, SilkTest for the functional testing of SAP NetWeaver applications, SAP enterprise portals and SAP GUI, and Silk Integration Hub for SAP offering manager.
