METROPOLITAN POLICE TO INSTALL NEW UNISYS 2200/201 MAINFRAME

London’s Metropolitan Police will soon have one of the new Unisys 2200/201 small mainframes to help them with their inquiries: the new machine will initially run Mapper and the Officelink office automation system and will have 2M 36-bit words, and 680Mb on disk; the machine is being installed to off-load the existing 1100/64 machine.
