Leveraging the company’s semantic middleware platform, the justice framework is the environment for building and deploying semantically-enabled justice solutions.

The framework encompasses open data standards as defined by federal government agencies for implementing information sharing solutions in courts, law enforcement and corrections domains.

The justice framework features several key capabilities including the ability to deploy searchable information exchange package documentation’s (IEPD) within Metatomix’s judicial inquiry system and criminal investigation products. By adopting this standard approach to information sharing, Metatomix provides partners and customers the ability to enhance and extend the scope of information that the company’s justices solutions provide. Additionally, the framework supports the National Information Exchange Model 2.0 standards and tools, ensuring that agencies will remain and continue to grow with the standards developed and disseminated by the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security.

Jeff Dickerson, chief executive officer of Metatomix, said: The semantic framework for justice underscores our commitment to and experience with the justice industry. Our justice customers’ feedback is reflected in every aspect of the solution announced today. Working with them we have developed this framework to meet the real-world needs of organizations tasked with administering justice across many functions and systems.
