METAL MANUFACTURERS INCREASES STAKE IN ASSOCIATED BRITISH CABLES

BICC Plc is consolidating its position in Australia and New Zealand through Metal Manufacturers Pty, in which it holds a 44% stake: Metal Manufacturers has increased its share in New Zealand-registered company Associated British Cables from 44% to 63%, issuing 33.85m in new ordinary shares to the company in a transaction valued at UKP43.7m.
