Cable & Wireless Plc’s 50%-owned Mercury One-2-One UK mobile phone service cut charges for business customers yesterday, claiming that it was now 10% to 25% cheaper within the M25 orbital motorway around London to use its cellular service than to use a British Telecommunications Plc landline to make a daytime local, national or international call.
