The multi-year agreement extends and expands services to Mercantile’s 11 affiliate banks, which serve more than 67,000 active internet banking users and 15,000 bill payment users through 13 brand names.

Working with Digital Insight ensures we are able to offer customers an array of products and services in a secure, stable online banking environment without the constraints of managing an in-house solution, said Larry Bloom, senior vice president of electronic delivery services at Mercantile.

Through Digital Insight, the Mercantile member banks currently offer ‘Banking Twenty-Four Online’ users access to bill payment, check imaging, and a web connect feature, which enables Quicken and Microsoft Money users to interact with their personal financial management software.

Under terms of the renewed and expanded agreement, users at all 11 banks will gain access to online statements, funds transfer w/aggregation, check reorder and direct connect. In addition, each bank will partner with Digital Insight to provide secure online customer service with co-browse support.

As of March 31 2006, more than 6.5 million consumers and 104,000 businesses were actively using Digital Insight’s online banking platforms.
