MEDIA VISION HAS LICENSED SPECTRON’s SPOX OPERATING SYSTEM

By CBR Staff Writer

Media Vision Technology Inc, based in Fremont, California, has turned to Spectron Microsystems Inc for software technology to enable faster development of next generation audio products. The company has licensed Spectron’s SPOX operating system and Microsoft Corp’s Windows-based digital signal processing resource manager and digital signal processing Applications Programming Interface. This technology simplifies the development of applications software for signal processing and continues the product strategy that Media Vision began to disclose with the early October announcement that it had signed a letter of intent with Analog Devices Inc for exclusive licence of Analog’s signal processing core (CI No 2,270).
