Customer Relations Management technology specialists Saleforce.com is offering the AppExchange on-demand platform, which Medcere is using to build and run an on-demand application for product development.
Saleforce.com says Medcere’s custom development request tracking application streamlines the process of development requests from customers, status of Builds, and information on employees and their role in the many projects the company is undertaking.
Medcere is one of the 18,700 companies of all sizes, industries and geographies that comprised the salesforce.com customer base as of October 31, 2005. Revenue and subscribers will be recognized as the service is delivered.
AppExchange unites all of Medcere’s on-demand applications with a single data model, single security model and a single user interface. AppExchange allows Medcere’s employees to customize, build, run and share on demand applications that power all of their business needs.
Don Zurbrick, project manager at Medcere said, AppExchange has allowed us to easily build a custom application that supports our sales and customer service efforts. With AppExchange, we now have a single interface for service requests that allows us to track product development from inception to delivery.
In the near future, Medcere could look to integrate its accounting package and billing/order systems with its Salesforce and AppExchange custom applications to continue streamlining operations.
