MDI RECOMMENDS SHAREHOLDERS TO ACCEPT BID FROM MOTOROLA

Mobile telephone equipment maker MDI Mobile Data International Inc of Richmond, British Columbia is recommending that shareholders accept the $84m takeover offer from Motorola Inc, saying that it hasn’t found anyone else prepared to top Motorola’s $Can13.50 a share offer.
