MCI COMMUNICATIONS MAKES 3.5% PRICE-REDUCTION IN AVERAGE LONG-DISTANCE RATES

MCI Communications Corp will match AT&T’s cuts with a 3.5% reduction in average long-distance rates in March: residential fall 2.9%, 800 numbers 3.5% and leased lines 7%.
