The relentlessly user-hostile Dialcom electronic mail service from British Telecommunications Plc will have to look to its laurels – the much friendlier MCI Mail from MCI Communications Inc is slashing its prices in the US, waiving the $10 a month fee for advanced service and the annual $25 usage charge, offering special rates on 40 shortish messages a month, and cutting its previously pricy facsimile rates.
