MCI ADOPTS INTEL’s PROSHARE VIDEOCONFERENCING

MCI Communications Corp and Intel Corp announced yesterday that they plan to work together on desktop video and audio conferencing, bringing together MCI’s networkMCI and Intel’s ProShare technology conferencing services. The two will also deploy T.120 application sharing technology for documents and still images. Separately, MCI said it had a conferencing system from VideoServer Inc that enables more than two users to share documents over ordinary phone lines.
