MCDONNELL-DOUGLAS WINS CONTRACT FROM RUSHMOOR BOROUGH COUNCIL

Hemel-Hempstead, Hertfordshire-based McDonnell Douglas Information Systems has won a contract worth UKP1m from Rushmoor Borough Council for a corporate information system to cope with the community charge legislation: the order is for a Series 19 Reality Pick box with a 4Mb CPU, 1.6Gb disk and 52 ports, as well as magnetic tape units, and printers; the deal also includes the proprietary ALL applications generator enabling Rushmoor council staff to develop their own programmes for a variety of applications.
