McDonnell Douglas Information Systems has replaced its M6000 and M9000 computers, designed to run the company’s Reality superset of the Pick database operating system, with a new Series 19 that comes in nine models. The range grows from a 15-user tower system to a top-end machine with support for 600 devices. The UK is the company’s biggest market, so appropriately, the new line was jointly designed by teams here and in the US, the UK doing the baby CPU and networking.
