MCCAW CELLULAR COMMUNICATIONS BUYS 5.4% STAKE IN LIN BROADCASTING

McCaw Cellular Communications Inc, Kirkland, Washington has bought a 5.4% stake in cable television and cellular telephone operator Lin Broadcasting Inc of New York, saying it took the stake purely as an investment in a well-run company.
