Santa Clara, California-based McAfee Associates Inc has announced McAfee Service Desk, claimed to be the first suite to combine enterprise help desk and network management capabilities. The suite, which integrates the company’s Vycor Enterprise help desk with its Saber local network workstation network management package, is guaranteed to take only 45 days to implement in a production environment. McAfee Service Desk is now shipping and costs $60,100 for up to 10 service desk consoles.
