MBS PLC FORMS NETWORKING AND COMMUNICATIONS UNIT

By CBR Staff Writer

Micro Business Systems Plc has set up a communications subsidiary consolidating its cabling and network activities. MBS Communications Ltd kicks off with 25 sales and engineering staff and expands the installation and consultancy service available to the MBS end-user distribution network. The move brings in the experience of Robert Adams, until now European vice-president for the Canadian, Gandalf Digital Communications. The first operating division to be set up is Network Systems, which is based on the networking operations of MBS’ DEC distribution and software subsidiary, Alveronic, which will also offer a line of products ranging from communications cards and modems to networking software.
